Historia is a free research tool for students. It searches public archives and returns real catalogue records with citations.
No accounts, no login, and no personal information collected from students: no name, no email address, no student ID, and no field in which to enter one.
Because Historia receives no education records, it holds no FERPA-protected data. No vendor holds a government FERPA certification and we do not claim one.
It refuses to write a student's paper, enforced on the server before any model runs. It carries no advertising and no tracking pixels in its own code.
